Building for Generations

"Give Us A Chance and See Us Perform." Your contribution will do just that! These words hung on the wall of a small overcrowded, under-equipped classroom for children with special needs in Tanzania, Africa. At the request of local parents and teachers for assistance, Building for Generations was formed in 2006 when we built a three classroom block and auditorium there. Our organization is devoted to education, with a focus on special needs children and their families. Our projects are largely self-sustaining, partnered with local governments to pay salaries. They include the Tanzania school, a rehabilitation center in Chincha Baja, Peru (site of 8.0 quake) and in Santa Cruz in partnership "Music Together" (MusicalMeInc.) brings a hands-on music experience to children with moderate to severe conditions in 6 to 10 classrooms. Your contributions provide an ongoing lunch program in Tanzania where most of the children are malnourished. Donations also provide materials, transportation assistance to families in Peru and more recently training in Positive Discipline. * $12 per day feeds 56 children lunch in Tanzania * $7 per day provides support to our Peru center and transportation for one family * $60 provides a music class for one classroom in Santa Cruz. This year, 2018, our efforts in the Human Race will be devoted to our Santa Cruz music program as it is in the greatest need. We are all volunteer and make your dollars count!
